Architect or equivalent Part II - Deadline for Applications : 23rd December
CAN is looking for an Architect or equivalent Part II with a minimum of 2 years experience running private residential projects to join the growing studio in Catford.
CAN is a multi-award winning Architecture and Ideas studio that creates idiosyncratic and striking projects, underwritten by cultural and historical research, that believes that architecture can and should make the city a more joyful, inclusive and exciting place to live and work. Diversity of thought is intrinsic to CAN's creative process with a strong focus on creative collaboration.
The ideal candidate will have experience in running private residential projects through all RIBA stages including technical design and should have a keen interest across the creative spectrum with an open mind to working on a variety of creative projects including public art, exhibition design and workplace design. The role requires an individual who can lead the delivery of projects on site. This is an opportunity to help grow and shape the studio moving forward.

Essential Requirements
- On-site and project running experience (private residential)
- Have a high level of technical design with a good understanding of construction details
- Strong visual and graphic presentation skills
- Experienced in Autocad and SketchUp (or similar CAD software - please list on CV)
- Experienced in Adobe Suite
- Ability to take initiative and work autonomously if needed
- Strong design skills
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
Favourable Requirements
- Experience in Rhino
- Experience in Vray or other rendering software
Particulars
- Start date: January/February 2023
- Working arrangement: Full time role (37.5hrs/week) with flexible working arrangements considered
- Salary: London Competitive; Negotiable (dependent on experience)
