An interior design and spatial layout proposal for a padel club in Cardiff, South Wales, CAN’s scheme transforms a large-scale industrial venue into a vibrant, community-focused sports and social hub.

Designed around the brand identity "Unbound," the interior balances the expansive scale of the blue padel courts with a human-scaled cafe pavilion framing views of the action. The design incorporates tactile, warm natural surfaces and a terracotta-toned floor speckled with white polka-dots that abstractly celebrate a bouncing padel ball motif. A lightweight, mint-green framework topped with silver ripstop fabric sails forms an open-air canopy over the cafe and viewing area, bringing warmth, texture, and acoustic softening to the high-ceilinged venue.

Flexible modular seating on castors, integrated retail shelving, and graphic chevron court pathways complete the dynamic interior, creating an inviting environment for players and spectators alike. Leisure interior design, padel club architecture, and spatial branding by CAN studio.
